Inspiring others by writing about becoming a Minimalist

Just last week, I was able to meet the two men who have inspired me to write my blog, The Minimalist March. Meeting Joshua Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus, The Minimalists, was rather exciting for me! They are on a 100-city book tour discussing their recent book Everthing That Remains. To add to the experience, my good friend, Catherine, spent the day with me in Cincinnati. (Yes, there was an extensive tour of IKEA!)

The Inspiration Continues

Over the past two months, The Minimalist March has inspired others to make small changes in their lives. The idea of less is more is appealing to many, and it’s an idea that is contagious. Friends are posting pictures of their cars filled with things to donate. And I have had conversations with people around the world who are also on their own journeys to a minimalist lifestyle. I exchange ideas for decluttering material things, strengthening relationships with family and friends, and being present and in the moment.

As The Minimalists say: “Love people, use things. The opposite never works.”
