Minimalism: Live with Less. Live More.

A few months ago, I was searching for something to write about. Yes, I write on various topics for my own website. But I wanted to begin writing on something specific. I spent a few weeks brainstorming and writing down my thoughts in Notepad.

In order to write successfully, I feel that one should be knowledgeable about the subject matter and have a passion for it. Learning and researching a subject is fine, but there needs to be enthusiasm. The writer should be an active participant. I wanted to write about my life experiences with the hopes of providing inspiration.

How I Found Minimalism

I was surfing the web at the beginning of February, and I came across The Minimalists: two guys from Dayton, Ohio, who decided to live a meaningful life by having less stuff. I read through their blog and realized that my ideas are inline with this whole minimalism philosophy. And so the journey began.

The Minimalist March is my personal journey to living a minimalist lifestyle.

I’m not doing anything radical such as living with less than 100 items. I’m just cutting the clutter in all aspects of my life. And I’m doing this so that I can focus on what is most important to me.
